What courses does the Academy offer?

The Academy offers generic as well as customized, client-focused programs in the geospatial sector, both topo-terrestrial and marine. Specific programs include: Fundamentals of GIS; Introduction to ArcGIS; Advanced ArcGIS for specific domains such as forestry and agriculture, urban planning, transportation, mining, oil and gas etc.; Photogrammetry; AutoCAD; Marine Geospatial Information; Nautical Cartography covering topics equivalent to the S8 Cat 'A' level of competence prescribed by IHO.

Are the programs offered by the Academy accredited?

The Academy is currently in the process of seeking accreditation for some of its programs from the University of Plymouth, UK. The Academy is seeking partnerships with agencies such as ESRI and has plans to obtain recognition of International Hydrographic Organization for its S8 Cat 'A' program.

Where are the programs held?

The Academy has a flexible approach to the conduct and location of programs. Normally, programs are conducted either at Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad in India. However, if adequate numbers of participants (above 5) from an organization show interest, the Academy can conduct the programs at the client's premises. When are the programs held?

Programs are held regularly. For schedule details please visit our program calendar. Customized programs, however, can be conducted at the mutual convenience of the client and Academy. If you wish the Academy to conduct programs at your campus at a specific time, please contact: coordinator@iicacademy.com.

Does the Academy have residential facilities at Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad?

The Academy does not currently have residential accommodation either at Visakhapatnam or Hyderabad. The Academy is, however, able to help you find accommodation which suits your budget in either city. If your require assistance with accommodation, please contact: coordinator@iicacademy.com.

How do I register for a program?

You can register for any upcoming program on-line. You can also download the registration form, complete relevant details and forward it with the requisite payment drawn as demand draft / Bank Draft in favor of IIC Technologies Pvt. Ltd., payable at Hyderabad, India, to the President IIC Academy.
